Barangaroo's Bundanoon Connection
Since its establishment in 1850, the sandstone extracted from Bundanoon Sandstone Quarry has been used as a complimentary stone to that of the sandstone sourced in Sydney.
Barangaroo Headland Park Reserve's stair treads, entry pillars, and 1836 wall all utilise sandstone extracted from Bundanoon Sandstone Quarry.
The use of Bundanoon Sandstone at Barangaroo is a testament to the quality and the ability of the stone to perform well.
Note: 93% of the sandstone was sourced onsite at Barangaroo, with around 5% of the balance sourced from Bundanoon Sandstone Quarry.
